Ocho Rios Jamaica Vacations

Been to Ocho Rios several times for the last ten years, Have walked to the market alone, never been bothered and walked all over town alone, no problem one. In fact I am taking my grandchildren there this summer !!! The hotels are wonderful and never had a bad time in all the years I have been to Jamaica. Jamaica is a wonderful country to visit and if you go with open eyes you might learn a thing or two about some wonderful people. Remember you are in there country, not yours. Respect for the pe ... This has to be one of the most dangerous places for a ship to dock. We were approached be drug dealers, hookers and beggers. The shopping center reminded me of going into a fort. It was gated and people were at the enterance and the exit trying to sell everything under the sun. We went to Duns River Falls and were hounded every step of the way. After arrival on a cruise ship, a short walk to town with several prostitutes approaching to sell their wares. And from what I saw, none too beautiful. Would never go back. ... Read Full Review | Report This

Ocho Rios is a great place to get away to whether you're single or married.

I truly love Ocho Rios as there is something for everyone there to do. Most of the tours offered on the island are in close proximity and Ocho Rios does boast really nice beaches. One place I love to visit while I'm there is John Crow's Tavern. They serve great food and it's just a really nice atmosphere with great music.
