If you are looking to be out of the busy city Odense is the perfect quaint picturesque town that you have to visit. I studied and lived here for four months. Since Hans Christian Anderson was born here you can tour his old house and see statues of him in most places. There are beautiful gardens and extremely old churchs to visit.
