Our trip to Orlando was nice after we finally got there. Delta put us on a plane not in the seats we had purchased but the back row against the tail or the plane. My huband has a bad knee from the military and was very unconfortable. We specified a certain seat as we knew he would be able to move about in the seat and not have such pain in his knee. Then after we got stuck in those seats we receive an anouncment from the pilot that the plane has not been warmed up and the has to rebout all the systems. This took 30 minutes and not we were late leaving. Then he came back on and told us there was somehting wrong with one of the engines of the plane. He said they needed to have the maintance person come and irx the problem. We were now 45 minutes leate in leaving. Then he came on and said it would take another 330 minutes or so to do paperwork about the problem and we would be leaving in about 30 minutes. We finally left and found we were 1 and 1/2 hours late and that we would be missing our connecting flight in Atlanta. We did miss it and had to locate another flight to make the connection. We got to Orlando 2 hours later than we were supose to and missed our friends coming in . The went Continental and arrived on time. We took Delts and had all sorts of problme. On the flightr home they once did another error. They had taken away out seats from Orland to Atlanta and was going to give us separte seats away from each other. They fixes it after I told them I was going to report them. When we got to Atlanta Delta flight back to Sacramento put us in the back of the plane in those seats my husband could not move in. That flight was 5 hours so getting up to get out he could not stand up. The parks and our hotel was really night and so way the staff but the air flight was terrable. Both ways. I feel Delta needs to offer some sort of apoligy Delta staff told us it was your falt that we did not get the seats we chose as you did not send in the reservatiation in in time. Why?

Our trip to Orlando was fabulous. I was surprised however, by a few additional charges. AOL booking fee of $54, and $20 per bag per flight. What seemed like very reasonable flights ended up being just OK. Delta flights seem very stingy these days. Perhaps all airlines are making significant cuts though to avoid folding up. But sitting on a 2 1/2 hour flight over the lunch hour with our 2 by 2 inch bag of way too salty peanuts in the first row behind 1st class passengers being served full ... More

Epcot is always worth the time and money. Disney is still doing it right! And you can't beat Florida weather in November.

The best thing to do is to stay in a vacation home in the nearby area. I stayed in a development called Windsor Hills, and for cheaper than a hotel room, I had a 6 Bedroom House. It was amazing. Pool, 4 Bathrooms and even a kitchen. We cooked all of our dinners and ate breakfast every morning at the house. They have transportation to the parks for really cheap, and I even got my groceries delivered from a company called Groceries To Go (www.foodshopforme.com). I sent them an e-mail and a d... More

I sent them an e-mail and a date and time and they brought everything right into my Kitchen from Publix. By far the best and cheapest way to do a vacation.
