Travel budgetwise in Norway!

I would recommend to travel by plane to Oslo and then travel to the western part of Norway where all the dramatic scenery is located. Fjords, mountains, glaciers and stave churches. I traveled with a company called Nordic Experience last summer and they provided guiding, sleeping outdoor, adventures, hiking and a lot of fun! :)And it wasnt that expensive either. A wonderful nature experience the Oslo Fjord with guide! båtOpplevelse AS (boatAdventure AS) sightseeing boats have daily departures from Oslo all year round, Rådhusbrygge 2, the pier just below Oslo City Hall. I recommend the 3 hours boattrip to see the grand historic Oscarsborg Fortress and alle the other beautiful islands of the Oslo Fjord. Oslo is Outstanding

Everything about Oslo is wonderful, the people, the museums, the parks, the restaurants, the scenery. Go to the old Olympic slolum area, the view of the harbor is magnificent. The prices are a bit outrageous but don't miss Oslo. It is well worth the money. ... Read Full Review | Report This

lovely city,historic,go beyond oslo,to see fiords,mountains,snow in late june,people are freindly,reserved,rich/oil in north sea/all are rich//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// most beautiful scenery ,that i've seen/have been to sweden 18 times/finally got to see norway/have been to finland/but gotta tell ya take the plastic to oslo/////food on pier $$$$11.00 for a baked potato///////$$$$$$$21.00 for a hamburger///////////////////////hotel ;'oslo';worth e ... Unbeleivable

Oslo like most of Norway is beatuiful to an unrivaled extent. If you plan to travel to Europe I advise that Scandanavia especailly Norway and Sweden should be a priority. I also recomend that if you are to fly into Gardermoen that you stay at least a night in the prestigous SAS hotel in Oslo. This trip will not dissapoint you, definitley do not allow Norways reputation of being an artic nation deceive you. ... Read Full Review | Report This
