3.Hip Hippie Town

This was an awesome town about a 5 minute drive from the Kalahuli airport. We stayed at a rented beach house that was just feet from the beach waves could splash us on the porch. Large waves awesome for watching surfers or surfing yourself. If you are vegetarian you will love it here. Charlies has some HUGE pancakes for breakfast so when the waitress asks you are you sure you want the Surfer stack say NO unless you are sharing with about 6 other people. I am not kidding. Cute and quaint little shops awesome bead store. Loved it and it is very close to the road to Hana and Haleakala the volcano. Whales were awesome. The north side of the island has the rougher waves but all waves in Hawaii should be respected.
