When I met my husband in 1991, he asked where I would want to vacation. I love to travel. We have been so many places and I find something special in all of them. We deciced to get married and he wanted to go Italy. I wanted Paris. We did both. We have been back to Italy ,but not Paris. We intentend to go back one day.
We saw as much as we could in short time and wish we spent more time there. One of the best parts of the trip, besides all the regular tourest stuff was taking a side trip. We needed to take the train to Rome, so we went to the Guerre de Leon. Its an area a little outside the city, but it had the best resturant. We still talk about the mousse today. We walked Paris, the best way todo it. We are from NY, so we were used to waking everywhere. The Seine, the magnificent gardens and walked into the Louvre. The Lourve was by far the best museum I have ever been. I havent never seen a better view from the Effiel Tower anywhere. The people we met were friendly AND helpful. We cannot wait to go back!

Paris exudes romance and excites the senses. It is a place of dreams. I have been there seven times and I cannot get my fill of it. It is for the lover of art, fine food and wine, and beautiful clothes!! Dear God the shopping alone is enough to make you weep. Then stand on the Champ Elysee and look up towards the Arc de Triomphe and tell me you have not died and gone to heaven!! From a die hard Francophile... More
