I love Paris in the Springtime 
I've been to Paris a half a dozen times and each time is better.  You discover something new every time.  Of course it's great to see all the tourist spots but grab a good map and explore.  Montmarte is probably my favorite district with all of the art and who can complain about the view from the hill.  There is so much culture and the people are nice if you try to blend in and be nice in return.  The best time to go to Paris is spring or fall to avoid tourists.  And there is the feeling you get when you're there. I can't explain it.  It's almost a calming joy and this feeling of child-like wonder.
