After Expo 98, the area which housed the event was turned into the Parque das Nações (Nations Park), a beautiful area where the River Tagus is a focal point of everyday life. By day, the park is visited by families, who come to enjoy the lakes, exhibitions, restaurants and other attractions which it has to offer. Oceanário de Lisboa, one of the biggest in the world, is located here and is worth a visit. At night, the area is filled with lively bars and nightclubs, along with a bowling alley and many areas where you can take romantic walks. Be it day or night, this park is unforgettable. In the spring, the annual Lisboa International Triathlon takes place here.
