i was at a nearby army camp (samae san) in 1975. didnt really take in the nightlife-went there with the camp chaplain to an orphanage. there were a lot of amerasian children as well as lots of bars and working girls

Unless They've Cleaned it Up, Not Worth It

I was there in 1987 and it was a pit. The bay was polluted and the town a cesspool. I mean really people, The Calligula Club? I kept waiting to hear Obi Wan describe it like Moss Eisly Spaceport, "You'll not find a bigger den of scum and villany in all the galaxy." I suppose if they cleaned up the bay and toned down the sex bars, it would be an all right place to vacation.

Pattaya or hookers by the sea rough translation of name. great place for the whole family stay at nice hotels cheap ,eat cheap, cheap sex,nice views young women and more sex what more can a man ask for? The people are nice if not short, the women will do anything for a baht. Lobster the size of small dogs and shrimp the size of small lobsters and very fresh some were still swimming only minutes before same with the fish. You have got to try the sea bass baked awesome and enough for two people. B

Somewhere between Bangkok and Pattaya is a place called the Tiger Zoo. It is truly amazing. Tiger cubs are raised by mother pigs. These enormous pigs nurse tiny tiger cubs as if they were their own. Then the tigers grow up docile, thinking that they are pigs. They can co-exist with other pigs, or dogs, and you can even nurse a tiger cub on your lap with a bottle of milk. Amazing. I was there courtesy of the US Army in 1970 at a nearby Army Camp (Samae San). Pattaya Beach was wide open. You could get anything you wanted. 9 of us rented a boat with 2 man crew for a day and went out to one of the islands. They used dynamite to get us some fish for lunch. Water was crystal clear, you could see down about 20 feet in the water. Beach was beautiful. Tell me where this is in U.S. and i'll retire there.
