I was so fortunate to have stumbled upon Simon's website and decided to go with his tour services because my budget was relatively small. For such an affordable price, I definitely got 5 star treatment! The only downside was that I had such a short time to truly see all of Penang but I think I definitely got bang for my buck.

He did not pay me to say this but I genuinely want to see this guy succeed because rarely have I met such an honest and generous person. His website is this.

I was in Penang for 1 week and really loved it. The People were very friendly helpful and went out of thier way to see that I was taken good care of. The Evergreen Laurel Hotel has every amenity needed with a fabulous breakfest bar of over 100 items. The food in the hotel resturant is excellent. My favorite places to eat were the coffee shops. They are everywhere and you just order from whatever vendor you like give them the table number and pay VERY little for it. There was not one single thing... More
I was in Penang for 1 week and really loved it. There was not one single thing I ate while there that I did not like!! The People of Malaysia also liked it that a westerner was willing to try their native food and enjoy them. My favorite was hokkian mee (hok-en-me) it is very spicy which I also like.I would suggest trying it all but at least these Hokkian Mee Laksa Rojak Satay Muar Chee Char Koay Teow Chee-Cheong-Fun (pig intestine noodle). It is not really pig intestine and hard to eat with chop sticks because it is very slick but it is GREAT!!
