The best thing about Phoenix was leaving it on my way to the East coast. It was just a 40 minute layover.

The plants are nice, the people that work there are unbelievable!
they are a bunch of grouchy old women that make me embarrassed to be from Arizona! The phoenix botanical gardens should hire people that have a positive attitude. These are old snobby wrinkled women and should not represent Arizona period. Very rude, very snobby, horrible experience! shame on you desert botanical gardens I think you can do better that that.

ive gone to arizona 3 times so far all of course in the winters and it was beautiful i am moving there in 2 weeks so ill be experiencing that HOT heat. but i think its beautiful over all

Well as being a US Airways(Formerly America West) I am very fond of Phoenix. I have been in and out of that city allmost twice a month. I have worked at the airport...wich is the cleanest. and nicest airport I have seen about 3 months in a row.
The best thing about Phoenix is the nightlife Mill Ave. Is the place to go if your a college guy or girl lookin to have some fun for the night. They have the Fat Tuesday bar My Big Fat Greek Resturant and numerous other brew pubs and resturants.
The only thing that I didnt really care for was....the glofing!. Naw jk it was the heat.. 130 degree days are not my thing but I can stand it for a short time.

After having lived in Chicago New York Los Angeles Paris London and Madrid I have to say I am very happy to now live in Phoenix Arizona. Great hiking right outside your door superior weather 10 months out of the year and warm people make living in Phoenix a pleasure. There's always fun things to do and great places to eat many of which are not heavily advertised. I get the feeling that's exactly how Phoenicians like it especially since there are always so many tourists in town. The resorts that are spread out over the Valley of the Sun are second to none.
