The long hot "Summer" !!

Born and raised in Detroit. Have lived in Seattle, Thousand Oaks, Denver and Portland prior to the Phoenix area. Every city provides an opportunity to enjoy and have fond memories!! Phoenix has a lot of things to do BUT the "heat" during the summer changes the population into "wild drivers, indoor residents and a poor attitude". It is very difficult to be stuck in heavy traffic, with your A/C keeping you alive but not a good reason to become a different person and " loose it". Favorite city ... Read Full Review | Report This

Sky Harbor was awful

We got into the airport at 10:45 pm, and there was some sort of a delay with getting the luggage from the plane. We waited until 1:00 am until our luggage finally rolled off, and then we got to find the car rental place. Love the Heat Hate the air port waits

whenever i fly back to washington to visit my family i fly from ontario to phoenix and then to washington to visit but the last time i went i got stuck at Sky Harbor International for five hours and there were other passengers who had been stuck there for a couple of days. Phoenix is cool (but HOT) but if you have lay overs there be sure to remember medications and snacks for in between flights and for in case of emergencys if you need a medication before flying. i made that mistake and my eardr ... I live in Phoenix for half of my life and from the day we got here in 1984, It has been nothing but, HEAT HEAT HEAT. We have 7 months of hot weather and 2 or 3 weeks of winter. Who would want to live in 100 + temps not, me. I am stuck here but, not LOVING IT. ... Read Full Review | Report This

I just went to Phoenix to visit my cousin for a week. I am from washington, and its still cold and rainy here. so i decided a week long exscape would be good. The weather was great during the day it was in the 80's and at night it cooled out to 40-50... not bad because in washington our day time high has been 40-50! I fell in love with it being flatter than washington and being able to see for miles and then seeing mountain and the big city didnt have sky scrappers like seattle does.. It was GRE ...
