The long hot "Summer" !! 
Born and raised in Detroit.  Have lived in Seattle, Thousand Oaks, Denver and Portland prior to the Phoenix area.  Every city provides an opportunity to enjoy and have fond memories!!  Phoenix has a lot of things to do BUT the "heat" during the summer changes the population into "wild drivers, indoor residents and a poor attitude".  It is very difficult to be stuck in heavy traffic, with your A/C keeping you alive but not a good reason to become a different person and " loose it".  Favorite city by far !!  PORTLAND !  The riverfront entertainment, 1 hour to the ocean and great people.  Yes, it does rain BUT the residents don't loose it during season changes..
