1.Poughkeepsie's real restaurants and the ones no other site has as a choice.

i'll tell the better eats. We have Crew (great hamburgers chefs from the culinary not too high). Houlihans in the Galeria mall(they make the best Asian salad!). then you got Panerrra(upscale delli syle sandwiches salads and soup known for the bread). we also hanve Ruby Tues. in the Galeria. there's the dinner Acropolis just got a new Pannini menu. we do have 2 K+D DELI. Then Babycakes across from Vassar college. really small but really good turkey. the dressing on the table doesn't look good bu... More

Don't go @ 12:00 it's packed. but good broad menu. if you wanna drive a 1/2 hr. to Fishkill they have Charlie Browns steakhouse but they have everything not just steak. they also have Crackle Barrel again no go @ 12:00. they have a country food menu (fried chicken mashed potatoes biscuits) they also have a shop with toys and games for the little uns'. Back 2 pok. we do have things like Mcdonalds Kentuky fried chicken Taco Bell and Wendy's. There all in row on main street. If you looked @ Taco Bell you can do better. Margarita's is a very good Mexican restaurant. With vibrant colors and booths carved and colored from Mexico. They give you a lot of food and it sooo good! It's on Wappengers on route 9. you'll see Kohl's first it's in strip mall. it's on the left of it up the small hill. There brand new and i think anyone would love it but it is Mexican food so don't go if you don;t like Tacoie things. You know you like that new word Tacoie :) Then back on main street there is Mole Mole (molie molie) for Mexican too. Now it's not gonna look like the best place ever to eat because the owner is also the cook but just sit tight nothing bad is gonna happen and you'll get really good food. but if I had a choice i'd do Margarita's. That's about everyplace I've been to for good eats. Bonn Appetite :)
