I loved Prague ! I was living in Switzerland as a student teacher for 4 months -- visited many places in Europe while I was there but Prague was definitely my favorite place. It was just a few years past the 1968 revolt, and Soviet presence was still an issue, but that slight tension only added to the experience ! I loved U Flecku - downing big beers singing at rough-hewn tables shared with young soldiers bearing rifles ! Had an unexpected experience of visiting with a whole townhouse full ... In Love with Praha

We spent a fantastic two weeks in Praha a couple of years aog. The city is beautiful and teh activities and commuter options are fabulous. We had friends from Prague so we also got to Southern Bohemia- Pisek and Budjevoice, towns that are beautiful and people very friendly. Prague Vacation or Education?

Since my son moved to Prague 6 years ago, I have visited often usually staying a few weeks. My son gave me the tough love method of learning the city. He let me figure it out myself. I did a lot of walking at first then I learned my way around the city. It is a marvelous place for a vacation due to great museums, cathedrals, synagogues, galleries, castles, palaces and a fabulous zoo.
