Prague is a very interesting city indeed, but with the dollar down it is not the bargin basement that it used to be. Would suggest staying in a small town along the railroad somewhere, and taking the half-hour or forty minuite ride into the center of town. As slow as traffic in a large city is, this is as handy as anyting, and a WHOLE lot cheaper. They have excellent rail service, many trains a day, and there is public transportation available almost everywhere. The food is very good, quite ... Read Full Review | Report This

Came back from Christmas time in Prague, the first week in December. Wonderful place to visit and worth the money spent. The Christmas market in Old Town was a thing from the past. People out in the thousand and even after 10 pm still very crowded. The food was great. Many ethnic dishes at a reasonable price. Public transportation was everywhere. With the changeover to the Euro, things may get much worse, unfortunately. However, everyone should visit at least once. The bridge, the cathedrals, even the crazy clock...it is an experience unparalleled by any other city in the region. ... Read Full Review | Report This

I stopped in Prague on my way to Israel. It was a beautiful city with cobblestone streets. The food was somewhat unusual with alot of dishes using cabbage. I never saw it used so many ways. Be sure and see the castle and ride the trams. There are alot of hills to climb getting there. Our guide was young and energetic and didn't slow down on those hills. ... There are even cheaper places or if you eat the "Daly Menu" which start at $4.95 Euro. In the Rathskeller Restaurant are a lot of selections between 10 and 15 Euros. The same goes for Vienna. Prag is known as being almost as expensive as Paris, and has the biggest "Thiefs" as Taxidrive ... Read Full Review | Report This
