It's beautiful.. You should also visit Torres del Paine National Park. This country has it all. Chile's unusual, ribbon-like shape —4,300 km long and on average 175 km wide— has given it a hugely varied climate, ranging from the world's driest desert - the Atacama - in the north, through a Mediterranean climate in the centre, to a snow-prone Alpine climate in the south, with glaciers, fjords and lakes. Too bad everything is so expensive compering to other countries in latin america. Most of the cities in this country are european style.. Nice place to visit.

We visited Puerto Montt on a 2 week long South American cruise. We kept waiting for the beautiful scenery we had heard so much about....there was none! I have seen more beautiful landscape driving on the interstate through Tennessee. The only redeeming quality was the zip line tour we did at the foot of the Osorno volcanoe. Of course now, the area is probably dirtier than it was in March...thanks to the erupting volcanoe in southern Chile.... More
