As a frequent visitor to PV I have had plenty of time to explore and get to know the place. The old town on the other side of the River Quale is so very quaint. I spend most of my time there. Hotels are VERY reasonable - not too fancy - but adequate. The beaches there are the best and have lots of cafes etc right on the beach. This side of town is where you will find the BEST dining. You can find everything from French to Italian cooking. (I don't eat Mexican food so I am in heaven there)....

Best to take a cab - it's a quick trip and cost pennies. The food and view is spectacular as well as the service. You must make a reservation tho. It is very small. A must try....... I love \PV\. It is right up there with Bermuda and they are totally opposite. I have been to a lot of places and those are my two favorite. You get a lot more bang for your buck in PV tho. Bermuda is very expensive.
