Great if you get out of PV proper? 
The town itself is very tourist typical, Carlos and Charlies, fish boats blah, blah. If you can get an hour north punta de mita or and hour south, your going to really get a trip in, beautiful beaches, wonderful people. Watch for tourist crime, its real and getting worse!
