Purto Vallarta can be fun but..... 
My wife and sometimes my son have been going to PV for about 17 years.  We bought a Time Share at the Crystal.  Like many of the Time Share casualties, things went well for a while.  Then, our "contract" changed, we lost our two bedroom suite to new buildings and the place changed.  I hear the same story all over with Time Shares...you have a bitch and they tell you it is the "Mexican way".   My advice, No time share!  So many people buy them just to stop using them because the mexicans do not honor their agreements.This year, the traffic is overwhelming with tons of crazy drivers, many, many of the restruants over charge on quality and price of food, drinks and service.  You really have to look and ask questions before you enter an estabishment.  I love PV but the place is changing.  The Crystal and Myans are poor choices to stay
