fun!!! great for kids and the best beach around.

Great beach, clean and comfortable sprawling resort but transportation around the grounds by tram is regular and often. Really all inclusive liquor included. Hyper friendly staff, many languages spoken, I found the international atmosphere fun and interesting the facility is kept very well, with only very minor signs of aging. Small casino is fun. The nightly shows were almost the same with a different theme each night, probably the thing I liked the least. The only thing I had to pay for was motorized sports such as parasailing or fishing excursions, bus trips, snorkel trips etc. non motorized fun includes sea kayaks, catamaran or sunfish sailing, paddle boats. Seemed to have a nice program for younger children, but I did not bring any kids. Great pool scene as well as a very laid back style beach experience (topless). Rooms were spacious and well maintained with good housekeeping. The food was of great variety, fresh and well prepared available pretty much all the time and was well presented buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although you can reserve for dinner at one of 7 or 8 international themed on site restaraunts at no extra charge if you want a more formal dinner. There is Shopping at a very rustic beach bazar area a short walk down the beach, bring your best camel trader skills for this one, the vendors practically drag you into their stalls in a friendly non offensive way. There is also a nice area of upscale shops just outside the front of the resort with higher end products such as jewlery, clothing, home furnishings, gifts and the like. Overall I thought the resort was an excellent vacation value and although I could only stay for a few days I would certainly go back.
