RENO VACATION

My husband and I along with our best friends stayed at Harrah's in Reno, NV last summer - Rooms were not the greatest. However, if small town and gambling is what you crave, Reno is your town. We traveled a great deal while we were there. We went to Carson City, Virginia City, Lake Tahoe - Traveled to California and saw the Redwood Forest - Went thru Marin County (wine country) San Francisco and Sacramento. This is a great location for people who want to be close to a lot of things. Lake Tahoe and the ski areas close by, Carson City a short drive away ... and plenty to do right in Reno. Not as big and exciting as LV, but a nice place to spend a weekend without spending a fortune. In nearby Incline Village lies the site where the television series Bonanza was filmed.
