The waterfront is beautiful the city is a fascinating place for history with sites dating back to the early 1600s. Don't miss the Peabody Museum in addition to the more heavily publicized Witch Museum and other related places -- if you're lucky Laurie Cabot the official Witch of Salem might be in town. The waterfront is colorful and there are any number of small bookstores new age shops what have you. Tour some of the old houses. Plenty to interest families with kids of all ages. ... More
