Visited for 6 days in sept.2007. The downtown area is nice and easy to get around. Everything I needed was in walking distance to my motel. Spent a lot of time @ salt palace because the convention I was attending was held there. It was very nice. The streets were clean and the temple square was beautiful. The View from a Non Mormon Transplant

I moved to Ogden (35 miles N of SLC) when we were stationed here. When we were moved out, my heart never left. It took me 20 years to get back, but this time I will never leave. The people here are honest, friendly and helpful. I have never been harassed by anyone because I am not mormon. The landscape here is breathtaking, and close to you.
