Saludecio
Piazza Beato Amato
Rimini, Italy
phone: +39 0541 98 1240
Saludecio lies within its ancient walls on the rolling hills of Valconca just a few kilometers from Cattolica and Riccione. It was fought over by the Montefeltro and Malatesta families, then by the Venetians and the Della Rovere family until it entered the Papal State. The historical center is reached through Porta Marina where the visitor is accosted by narrow, shady streets, the palaces that belonged to noble families, the 18th-century church of San Biagio, the medieval Civic Tower and 17th-century Gerolonini monastery. Saludecio hosts two important events: "Salus Erbe" for enthusiasts of natural foods, and "Ottocento Festival" which is known throughout Italy.
