It Was Fun 
I toured Winchester Mystery House a number of years ago, and I thought it was a fun afternoon.  The Wincester widow was afraid that, if she quit building onto the house, she would die. So the house had room after redundant room, and steps leading to nowhere, etc.  Actually, it was rather creepy, but it was an interesting diversion.
