1.breathtaking sunsets on the beach

Although I was there on business we had plenty of time to enjoy the simple pleasures of San Marcos: the beach the water the shelling and the sunsets. The warm water is enticing and the shelling is fabulous for those of us northerners who never see lions paws or maroon striped scallops... Biking around town was great - fun shops to stop in and browse too...Although known for extravagance and luxury - I found the down to earth simple pleasures every bit as breathtaking...... More
