One of my favorite places on Earth!!!!!!!!!!!!! The weather is perfect year round. Sambo's on the waterfront has fantastic breakfasts at a very affordable price. The little known Colonial Beach Inn, 2 blocks from the beach, is a great value serving wine and cookies in the afternoon and continental breakfast. Tennis courts and baseball field across the street. Santa Barbara has a very mellow laid back atmosphere. You can enjoy a day at the beach. Plenty of shopping & small pubs along State street. For small kids there's the local Zoo. The Santa Ynez mountains are nearby if you'd like to go hiking. The Santa Barbara Mission is close by for any history buffs. If I could find a nice two-bedroom condo with a view of the ocean for $600,000 I'd trade my condo in Tahoe for it. I love Santa Barbara, the shops, State Street, restaurants, ocean, boardwalk, everything but the price of homes
