Santander is a charming city off of the northern coast of Spain. It's most popular during the summer when tourists flock to its clean beaches. Santander's El Sardinero Beach is one of the top 8 cleanest beaches in the world. Because of its heavy tourism there are many lovely hotels in Santander.
One of the most popular Santander hotels is the Occidental Bahia . The Occidental Bahia is located only 3 kilometers from the beach. Another one of the popular Santander hotels is the Hotel Real. Built in the early 1900s, the Hotel Real is an enchanting and imposing palace. It overlooks the Bay of Biscay, and offers spectacular views of the water and the city. If you're not interested in historic hotels, perhaps the NH Hotel Ciudad de Santander will excite you. As one of the most modern Santander hotels in the historic city, the NH Hotel Cuidad de Santander looks more like an office building than a hotel.
