Amazing place with as much traffic or more than NYC. Nonetheless, it has everything if you can find it. Especially sky risers that are mostly apartment buildings. It is very easy to make friends and travel the city. Especially, if you speak Portuguese. Poverty is there which provides for the cheap cost of the service industry and inexpensive domestic workers, but be careful this luxury could lead to a gun in your face. However, I have been to Sao Paulo over 12 times and have never seen it despite the well collaborated stories. So, really, my perception is Sao Paulo is a safe and friendly town with happy people despite the poverty surrounding the rich.
