I was in Sarajevo and Mostar before moving on to Montenegro in the Spring of 2007. Sarajevo is a beautiful city marked by sad reminders of the conflict in the 1990s. The people there are wonderful, well-educated, cultured, resilient and most of all, extremely welcoming. I had the best food I've ever eaten anywhere--the blend of Austrio-Hungarian, Slavic and Turkish cultures infuses the cuisine as well as the architecture of this country.
If you are in BiH, you should definitely head so...
