3.Outstanding Nude Beach Fine Food Good Accomadations

There are far too few communities as attractive and affordable for vacations within reasonable driving distance of Chicago Milwaukee Detroit Toledo Cleveland Indianapolis SouthBend and Columbus either IN or OH. The beach is pristine but the water too cold for all but the natives who have ice water in their veins; there are sections of the beach that are clothing optional and the mix of dunes sand sun and woods make for adventures for a life time. 4.Relaxing great couple of days

There is so much to do and beautiful on the eyes. The beach is pretty the shopping is to die for and the food is great. Such a relaxing wknd trip or a great stop on the way to your next destination. I go shopping there every year and then spend the afternoon on the beach. the dune rides are fantastic if you have never been.... More

Great towns (Saugatuck and Douglas) Plenty of Restaurants and Bars Charter Fishing Tour Boats (including sailboating sunsets) Dune rides Beaches In Downtown Saugatuck you can rent Pontoon boats kayaks canoes bicycles scootersetc. Shopping (upscale art shops to tourist kitch).They have a community Theatre that produces good shows regularly. Take the Duck Boat tour in summer-shows you both downtowns and a ride up the lake in Saugatuck.Yes it is Gay friendly but low key. Largely a live and let liv... More

Have had my teenage children (and my Lady Mother Brother and sister-in-law) there and they loved it. Found it by accident on a Michigan shore line motorcycle tour.Have been back 1 week a year for the past three years plus some nights and long weekend in between has always seemed too short. South Haven Holland and Grand Haven are all nice towns within an easy drive. Grand Rapids is a good size town not too far away.
