We absolutely loved Singapore. It is such a safe city and the people are lovely. The Botanical Gardens are a must, as is the Porcelain Factory, Sentosa Island and China Town. We looked forward to rain every afternoon. The food was divine.

In Singapore, much like the Mediterranean, you must try to get a bad meal. The food is excellent. Singapore has many interesting sights, including the National Zoo, Sentosa Island, and the National Asian Museum. If you like shopping, there are mall throughout the city with the ubiquitous food courts. Especially interesting is Vivo City and Doby Ghaut.
The people are varied, with Chinese, Indians, Malaysians and Westerners. People are very polite.
Singapore has the best public transportation of all the cities in Asia I have visited; Beijing is a close second.
The city is very safe. It is a great city to vacation in.

I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME THERE! AFTER THE TOURS(CHINA TOWN,LITTLE INDIA,ARAB STREET,THE BOTANICAL GARDENS MUST BE SEEN AND YOU MUST DO THE NIGHT JUNGLE AND ZOO THE ANIMALS GET VERY CLOSE TO YOU IF YOUR NOT AFRAID) THE PARTYING IS GREAT IN CLARK QUAY, THE FOOD IS AWESOME, FRESH AND INEXPENSIVE. THE MIX OF CULTURES WAS COMFORTING, SOMETIMES I TRAVEL ALONE AND AS A BLACK FEMALE WHEN I TRAVEL ABROAD I HAVE BAD RACIAL EXPERIENCES
BELIEVE IT OR NOT IN THIS DAY AND AGE IT STILL HAPPENS! AND THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEMS EITHER THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY AND I NEVER FELT UNCOMFORTABLE OR UNSAFE YOU DON'T NEED A LOT OF MONEY TO HAVE A GREAT TIME UNLESS YOU LIKE TO SHOP, SHOPPING IS MAJOR ON ORCHARD RD.DESIGNER LABELS THROUGHOUT THE SHOPPING DISTRICT.SO IF YOU ARE READY TO PARTY AND EAT THIS IS THE TRIP FOR YOU.
