We absolutely loved Singapore. It is such a safe city and the people are lovely. The Botanical Gardens are a must as is the Porcelain Factory Sentosa Island and China Town. We looked forward to rain every afternoon. The food was divine.... More

I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME THERE! AFTER THE TOURS(CHINA TOWNLITTLE INDIAARAB STREETTHE BOTANICAL GARDENS MUST BE SEEN AND YOU MUST DO THE NIGHT JUNGLE AND ZOO THE ANIMALS GET VERY CLOSE TO YOU IF YOUR NOT AFRAID) THE PARTYING IS GREAT IN CLARK QUAY THE FOOD IS AWESOME FRESH AND INEXPENSIVE. THE MIX OF CULTURES WAS COMFORTING SOMETIMES I TRAVEL ALONE AND AS A BLACK FEMALE WHEN I TRAVEL ABROAD I HAVE BAD RACIAL EXPERIENCESBELIEVE IT OR NOT IN THIS DAY AND AGE IT STILL HAPPENS! In Singapore much like the Mediterranean you must try to get a bad meal. The food is excellent. Singapore has many interesting sights including the National Zoo Sentosa Island and the National Asian Museum. If you like shopping there are mall throughout the city with the ubiquitous food courts. Especially interesting is Vivo City and Doby Ghaut.The people are varied with Chinese Indians Malaysians and Westerners.
