Hotel on the Cay St. Croix, US Virgin Islands Reviews

This is not your 5 star spa experience, so if that is what you are looking for, this is not for you. It is however a quaint, clean island hotel with prices that can't be beat for what you get. The hotel sits on its own island in the harbor of Christiansted. It also has a nice beach with white sand, plenty of lounge chairs, and beautiful clear water with lots of tropical foliage and palm trees. There are water sport rentals on the beach and a beach bar that serves lunch type food. The small ferry which is free to hotel guests takes you over to the Christiansted boardwalk pretty much 'on demand' and takes about a minute and a half to get you over to town where you have your choice of many excellent restaurants, shops and historic sites. Most rooms have a small kitchenette which includes, sink, coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. There are also on site laundry facilities and all rooms have a water view. Hotel on the Cay is the best place to view the beautiful pastel colored Danish architecture of Christiansted, watch the boats sail by or as a centrally located hotel to see the rest of the island. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!
