My family and I lived in STL for two year. Are favorite thing to do was go to the zoo... Its open year round and on nice days in the winter when we went no one was there. It was the best... Also another great free thing to do it to see a production at the Muny in Forest Park... You have to get there early to get free seats but they are the best seats in the house! And you can't beat a great Cardinals Game either! ... More

8.It's not my home town

I was not born in St. Louis nor do I live there but I did spend two weeks there while attending a conference. During these two weeks I was robbed at gun point while at the Galleria mall had my rental car was keyed while at my hotel and had to visit a walk in clinic for salmonela sickness from an Italian restaurant on \the hill\. To the cities's credit the arch and surrounding park were impressive along with the science center. The people on the whole were not overly friendly but due to a cold ... More

The people on the whole were not overly friendly but due to a cold spell maybe it was the weather taking it's toll on them or maybe they just like the sound of their horns and say hello to each other by honking on them. Hopefully my next trip will be better.

I was born in North Saint Louis and raised in Florissant.Missouri-----can't think of a better place to grow up. Lots of parksgreat schools and hospitals---but the people make this one of the most desireable places to grow up and now that I live in South Florida----to visit.I could go on and on about the Saint Louis people but you would have to go far and wide tofind people that would even come close to them--rememberI live in South Florida !!!!!!...
