about 25 years ago we had 2 camaras stolen while we went thru security bebore boarding the flight back home. not very nice beaches then, but people were friendly.

I lived there for 3 months right in downtown Christiansted and I had no problems after dark. Carambola resort and beach is the most perfect beach ever. The Brewe Pub downtown Chrisitiansted has fantastic food and fun music. The casino is very nice and is across from a very fun and exciting beach resort called the Divi. No place for beaches

I went a few years ago, while it is a very attractive island and relaxing. There are almost no beach area's it is mostly rocks, coral and weeds at the warters edge. The main town is OK but the rest of them makes you think you are in the interior of Mexico. I would not go back and most of the resorts are boring!

Beautiful St. Croix

Having lived in St, Croix many years...it is almost like a second home to me..but tourist beware..it is a dangerous place after dark..downtown Christiansted..or Fredicksted after dark is no place for anyone..other than the locals.and I hate to say it...but cleanliness is not a top priority there either..piles of trash along the roadway is not an uncommon sight...with all that..I still miss the place dearly..and can't wait til my American Eagle flight lands there next month...just remeber..after
