**ST. CROIX** 
I lived there for 3 months right in downtown Christiansted and I had no problems after dark.  Carambola resort and beach is the most perfect beach ever.  The Brewe Pub downtown Chrisitiansted has fantastic food and fun music.  The casino is very nice and is across from a very fun and exciting beach resort called the Divi.  The beer drinking pigs in the rainforest is a sight everyone should see.  It is less of a touristy island but that is why it is better than the rest of the islands!  You get to know the local bums who actually, aren't bad people.  Meet Richard...  he is the amazing on the bongos!  I will retire there!
