If this attraction was located anywhere else in Xiamen besides Gulangyu Island it would be hailed as "must see." However, because of the island's non-stop eye lures, it tends to be forgotten. Nevertheless, it warrants attention, especially for its panoramic gasps. The rock extends 300 feet high offering visitors views of Xiamen, the South China Sea, and Taiwan's Jinmen Island. A cable car hauls visitors to the rock's summit. Be sure to pause at this attraction's bird aviary.
