Think of New York but cleaner, warmer, more accessible with a good exchange rate. Shopping, eating, partying, gambling, museums, sports, concerts etc. Don't forget the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge where you can walk on top of it! The Rocks is also a nice place to spend a day. Darling Harbour is a must. Close by is Bondi Beach (although its no Jones Beach). Spent 7 months there and would go back in a heartbeat. ... We spent 6 weeks visiting both countries. Words cannot describe how wonderful our experience was. If you don't go, you'll never know! The people were friendly and helpful at all the places we visited. The beaches around Sydney were exceptionally well kept and we had no fear when out at night. The most trepidation we experienced was learning how to drive on the "wrong side" of the road and operating the vehicle from the passenger side of the car! Check out Heron Island, QLD. A small island ... Read Full Review | Report This
