St Pete is a fantastic place to vacation at for everyone! There is tons to do from just sitting on the beach relaxing to shopping!. Love John's Pass...sitting on the boardwalk enjoying sunsets and the restaurants have fantastic food! Would recommend going to Egmont Key take ferry and enjoy nature at it's finest. Walk around the old forts enjoy the beach and shelling. You will not go home emptyhanded! I would move here if it were at all possible. There are so many choices for accomodations from ... More

I see a lot of ya'll dont like the area... well... thats ok feel free to leave. You complain about crime housing costs heat/ humidity the homeless traffic etc. Lets look at these complaints. I see a lot of ya'll dont like the area... well... thats ok feel free to leave. You complain about crime housing costs heat/ humidity the homeless traffic etc. Lets look at these complaints. Crime homeless and traffic... how many know that if the bay area was made a state it would be the 25th largest in the country ? Heat/ Humidity.. try DC or NYC in the summer both hotter and more humid. Housing costs.... high costs created by you out of state speculators trying to get rich quick try affording a home around Boston DC or San Fran. Homeless... #1 far to many are homeless because of the afore mentioned speculators #2 the same speculators that refuse to pay a living wage for services. Traffic.... the worst of the congestion is caused by our \out of state seasonal visitors\ who do NOT know where they are going do NOT drive with due regard for othersand who's numbers include far to many that should NOT be behind the wheel of ANY vehicle ( let alone a 40/0 RV). FL offers 1485 miles of shorline the ONLY sub-tropical climate with associated flora and fauna in the country more recreation opportunities ( yr round I might add) than anywhere else. I could go on for hrs yes some things could be better but overall it's a wonderful place to live for people of all ages and interests.
