1.highly recommend visiting Casablanca with a freelance tour guide

LailaThough Morocco is not generally the type of place I might feel comfortable traveling alone I did so in Mid March 2009 with a fabulous guide named Laila.

Laila is a young Moroccan woman who Speaks wonderful English and guides singles or groups to locations around Morocco. she a driver named Rachid Casablanca highlights and I traveled to the remote western oasis near Marrakesh for three days. LailaThough Morocco is not generally the type of place I might feel comfortable traveling alone I did so in Mid March 2009 with a fabulous guide named Laila.

Laila is a young Moroccan woman who Speaks wonderful English and guides singles or groups to locations around Morocco. she a driver named Rachid Casablanca highlights and I traveled to the remote western oasis near Marrakesh for three days. Laila arranged for my travel and lodging as well as showing me the sights and being my translator. she was very Conscientious and respectful and I never felt uncomfortable! she also threw in little things to make my trip more memorable including a Berber BBQ on our last night in Marrakesh.

I will admit to being nervous about traveling on my own in Morocco but Laila put me at total ease. I highly recommend her as a personal guide. Her company is called LailaTour and Laila can be reached at: lailatour@gmail.com

2.A day in Tangiers

My friend & I traveled to Tangiers in April 2007. We arrived by ferry from Spain & immediately were lucky to get a faboulus guide. He helped us arrange tickets for the train to Marrekish & then proceed to give us a grand tour of the city. We had a fasinating time visiting \Hercules's Cave\ where the mediterrain & Atlantic seas meet we rode camels ate faboulus food shopped toured the streets where the \Bourne\ movie scenes were made he even found a rare bookstore for my friend. His english was perfect & his history & knowledge of Morroco invalueble. The people were very nice & friendly. As two women travelers we had no problems & felt very safe. I highly recommend visiting Morroco & Tangiers.
