it is absolutely breathe taking!I've been to some really beautiful places but Tikal National Park just took my breathe away. It is also a famous site for ancient Mayan architecture. The awe inspiring temples are massive and you can climb them if the weather permits to get an amazing view of the park. To see everything the park has to offer requires a lot a hiking and is time consuming but it is well worth it.

Tikal National Park is a beautiful and amazing piece of ancient mayan culture. The weather there is rainy half of the year and mild 70-85 degrees F the rest of the year. You get a chance to see a lot of Mayans in their native dress (traje). My 5 year old loved seeing the monkeys and other creatures of the rain forest. There is a lot of walking and c... More

You get a chance to see a lot of Mayans in their native dress (traje). My 5 year old loved seeing the monkeys and other creatures of the rain forest. There is a lot of walking and climbing but plenty of opportunity to rest at each ruin. There is a spectacular view at the top of the temples. A wonderful experience for anyone who likes culture or history. Despite reports of crime in the park we felt very safe there.
