1.It is worthy visiting Albania

I have been in albania many times and the recent one was the last summer. Let me tell u that only some of the roads in the small cities are in poor condition but the other things are spectacular. Starting from the food it is made of fresh products it is very cheap and u can find a variety from traditional albanian to italiangreekfrench and even chinese cuisine.The people there have got to be among the most hospitable on the planet that’s for sure. I have been in albania many times and the recent one was the last summer. Let me tell u that only some of the roads in the small cities are in poor condition but the other things are spectacular. Starting from the food it is made of fresh products it is very cheap and u can find a variety from traditional albanian to italiangreekfrench and even chinese cuisine.The people there have got to be among the most hospitable on the planet that’s for sure. If you are their guest you are like King of the House. Places to see: city of Saranda where except the beautiful see side u can enjoy visiting Butrinti and the lake of Blue Eye Gjirokaster is another city where u can find very old buildings most of the buildings are considered national treasure. Vlora is another city u need to visit the see side between Saranda and Vlora is a real pearl this place is not explored that much thats why all u can find there is pure nature.Tirana is the capital of Albania and u have to visit it if u like night life. FridaySaturday and Sunday night are the most popular nights and the pubs clubs and discos are very crowdedin tirana u can see also the statue of national hero Skanderbeg national museum the University of Tirana etc..Moving in the north of Albania u can visit the city of Kruja where the most important place there is the castle but even the streets of this city are very Unique.Skodra and Velipoja are the other cities u need to visit trust me it is worthy. The last but definitly not list \National Park of Theth\ in north Albania is somthing u cant miss.

Tirana has issues with trash and rodents. This is my only negative comment of this country. The food is the BEST I've every had -- always FRESH and WELL PREPARED. and very cheap relative to the U.S. People are incredibly friendly and want your business without being overbearing. they are very happy to see U.S. citizens and will treat you well. Siranda was my favorite place - roman ruins nearby right on the mediterrian beautiful mountains and seaside friendly people cheap accommodations. f... More

I visited all of Albania in 2004 and it is one of the best kept secrets. While the infrastructure is very poor and requires a driver who really knows what they're doing and a strong car the end is worth it. Some cities besides Tirana are fascinating such as Berati and Gjirokaster. The beaches are pristine and Roman ruins are in several places such as Saranda. Prices are excellent people great to deal with.... More

5.One of Europes best kept secrets....

There was so much to do in this small country. The beaches are pristine and the people were very hospitable. We went white water rafting sailing and hiking. I traveled from the southern part of Albania all the way to the Northern part.The food was very good and inexpensive. The castles are gorgeous. Butrint was very charming . I will definitely visit again. This time for Holiday and not business.Oh and the ice cream cafes were excellent. Much cleaner than Greece.... More
