I was in toledo for a while and realized it was a test city for franchised resturants. There are so many great places to eat with an array of different views. You can eat downtown on the river at the Real Seafood Company or The Old Navy Bistro. At night these places turn into a club scene as well with very high class atmosphere in the club called Club Sin. Or you can go to the many on of a kind places like Pocca Piatta with serves an amazing rack of lamb and incredible Hommus while you wash down homemade Sangria. The mall formerly known as Franklin Park is remodeled and a piece of art with a large variety of stores you can spend your money at. Keeping in mind that the movie theater has over a dozens screens and is located on the upper deck. Dick's Sporting goods is enormous and the people are friendly. The food court has even more places to choose from but I recommend eating at The Steak Escape. There lemonade is to die for and they made you sandwich right on front of you on an assembly line. Be prepared to grab some water while you are walking around in building it is no small walk in the park- you could spend all day there and still not make it through all the stores. The Fifth/Third Stadium is great to visit. If you are military you can get in for free and watch the AAA Toledo Mud Hens and get Muddy's autograph. The team plays great the atmoshere is awesome and after the game you can stroll around on the river walk outside the stadium along the river or go to one of the many clubs across the street as well. The music scene is very explosive. Many upcoming bands will play on stage at the clubs with great talent. Heavy rock/alternative music seems to be a large favorite with the locals at the bars. The University of Toledo is near by the the scene is pretty young. Around campus there are some bars like Jakes Saloon where most of the frats and sororities go. This place os great but around 1100 it gets hard to get a drink from the bar but way worth it.
