If you go to this great place by cruise ship. Dont take the taxi at the gang plank. Walk thru thr terminal and flag down any taxi - much much cheaper and as good. ... Read Full Review | Report This

Trinidad is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I've never had the priveledge of seeing Tobago though. I was stationed in Trinidad for 2 years, 1958-59, and I loved the island! How much has the island changed in 50 years? I hope to go back in 2009 to see what the island is like now. March, 2007 I was on a 2 week cruise and had the opportunity to spend a day in Tobago and Trinidad. I remember the Trinidad of old - the "spice island". Today both islands have transcended cultural differences and have formed a dual simplified economic plan that will benefit this area for the next century. Establishment still rules for schools but the economic free trade zones are great. These show to visitors from cruises that established small businesses can compete. I wish these new go ...
