Hidden Gem on the Gulf

This is the perfect place for a quiet and simple beach get-away. The non-commercialized setting allows for true reaquainting time with the family. It's a fantastic place to slow down recharge and really appreciate the simple things like the pure beauty and serenity of the beach. It's very easy to blend in with the locals as they are most hospitable and proud of their tranquil island. My family didn't want to leave and we certainly can't wait to get back...back to the basics. This is the perfect place for a quiet and simple beach get-away. The non-commercialized setting allows for true reaquainting time with the family. It's a fantastic place to slow down recharge and really appreciate the simple things like the pure beauty and serenity of the beach. It's very easy to blend in with the locals as they are most hospitable and proud of their tranquil island. My family didn't want to leave and we certainly can't wait to get back...back to the basics. If you are seeking quality downtime that is affordable Dauphin Island is for sure worth checking out. The stingy side of me almost wants to keep this place a secret from everyone but that wouldn't be fair. (Total vacation cost=$2000...includes lodging food gas(we drove) travel expenses excursions souvineirs etc. pretty much every receipt we added up for a family of 5 for the week...not bad at all.)
