Well let's see Rockford was the home of Barbara Hale I think - Susan St. JamesRockford Peaches of Baseball Fame (A League of Their Own) Rockford has a lot ofSwedish and Sicilian people. It is very very close to where Danica Patrick grew up inRoscoe. Not from Tampico and Dixon where Ronald Reagan began his life. The Burpee Art Gallery Tinker Museam. Rockford College. These are all in referance to the large colorful population of crack heads we have. but the fun doesn't stop there. Rockford has great restauraunts serving a variety of authentic ethnic cuisines. Rockford is home to Anderson Japanese Gardens which is world renound and the public and private golf courses have been ranked as some of the best in the country. Interesting side notes are that Rockford is home to rock and roll legends 'Cheap Trick' and is the birthplace of the sock-monkey.... More
