we are renting for a month this summer in Grand haven Mi. After visiting there for a few days for 2 years we have decided to rent for a month this year. That is how much we enjoyed it previously and we live in Florida!!!!!!!! you can walk everywhere and there is so much to do for a family.

Great place to visit BUT. Go early on a holiday traffic and parking is horrible. wish they had more parking space. Maybe the state could buy some of the homes located near the beach and tear em down and make a parking lot..

I grew up in Grand Haven and moved 40 miles away. I too have been to beaches all over the world and am disappointed in most. Grand Haven offers clean white sand no California seagulls great picnic and camping areas just steps from the beach small town charm and a great river walk for strolling. Kick back and enjoy undisturbed relaxation.
