NYFairport is a beautifully preserved quaint village. Summer is the best! June brings Canal Town Days with over 400 vendors displaying their arts and crafts. The canal is thriving during the months of June to October. There are several boat launches chartered boat tours and no matter what the season the scenery is always beautiful. The village has many shops of all varieties to explore. Parks and playgrounds abound. School systems are highly rated should one decide to call this wonderful town their home. Fairport is a hikers paradise with many trails and the Towpath also provides a great place to hike or bike along the canal. From June to August band concerts play every Thursday evening. A bowling alley basketball tennis and shuffleboard courts softball and soccer fields as well as a natural ice-skating rink and nearby golf courses provide plenty of activity for sports enthusiasts. The nearby expressway allows travellers easy access to neighboring towns and cities and various other activities. There is something here for everyone!
