Topsail Island Fishing Report

AprilHello from Topsail Beach! Man! We love Topsail! Red drum and black drum are biting fresh shrimp around the docks and in the creeks. Some speckled trout are starting to bite near the marshy areas near creek mouths and in the creeks. Best producing baits have been Berkley Gulp Salt Water and Bass Assassin Blurp. I know this isn't much information but I couldn't get any more details.
Surf City Pier reports some spots and a few virginia mullets mostly at night. Jolly Roger reports some virginia mullet and small sharks. Sea View Pier is open and reports some catches of small spots and virginia mullets. All piers are getting a few puffers.
